Clinton Invites President to New York 19. september 2006 13:22 Former US President Bill Clinton has invited Icelandic presidential couple, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson and Dorrit Moussaieff to take part in an international conference in New York. The conference is hosted by Clinton and is about the world's biggest concerns: climate change, energy, the fight against poverty and the growing gap between the rich and the poor, and religious conflicts. The aim of the conference is to find realistic ways to improve in these areas. A great number of well-known faces take part in the conference including Laura Bush, Bill Gates, Kofi Annan, Gordon Brown and Al Gore. The conference began today and concludes on Friday.
